Construction Begins on New Rockabema Snow Rangers Garage

A long-awaited project is becoming a reality at Rockabema Snow Rangers: construction of our new equipment garage begins Monday!
The new building will provide a secure, protected space for the club's equipment and give our volunteers a dedicated place to maintain and work on the machines that help keep our local trail system running throughout the winter.

This project is already a great example of what can happen when club members come together.
Several Rockabema members who own sawmills generously volunteered their equipment, expertise, and time to process the lumber needed for the new building. With the wood now milled, we're ready to begin construction.
The building's trusses are expected to arrive within the next couple of weeks, bringing us another step closer to getting the garage enclosed.

Support like this from area businesses, combined with the time and resources donated by our members and volunteers, allows Rockabema Snow Rangers to put more of our resources toward maintaining our equipment and approximately 75 miles of local snowmobile trails.

The Groomers Have a New Home
After seven days of construction and a tremendous volunteer effort, the new Rockabema Snow Rangers groomer garage is complete!
At 28 × 54 feet, the building provides plenty of room for the club's groomers and gives us the secure, protected equipment storage we've needed for a long time. The groomers are now safely inside their new home and ready for the winter ahead.
The garage was truly a labor of love. Club members and volunteers contributed their time, skills, equipment, and materials throughout the project—from milling the lumber to putting up the walls, roof, siding, and doors. The finished building was ready just in time for our first annual meeting of the season.
There is still one more step planned. A concrete floor will be added next year when club finances allow. For now, we're incredibly proud of what our volunteers accomplished and grateful to everyone who helped turn this long-awaited project into a reality.
